rec letters!! help!!!

idk if it's "legal" to talk about this here but I emailed my local alumni association last week about needing rec letters for certain sororities. I have NOT received an email back, do I need to wait longer? are there any other ways I can reach out to alumni? what do I do? sos!! kinda stressed!!

Usually the Alumni Association will then send out requests to members of the sororities that you need. When someone agrees to write a rec they will contact you directly. So that process could take a little bit. I wouldn't worry yet at this point if its only been a week.

Do you have a Facebook pg? If not, how about your parents? You could post that you are attending Uark in the fall and looking to gonthru recruitment- ask if anyone can help- you will be surprised who you know is Greek. Ask teachers.

1. make a post on facebook listing the sororities asking if anyone knows alumni that would write recs and that you're attending the U of A
2. ask friends/girls from your high school if they have a sister, cousin, mom, grandma, aunt, etc that is a legacy
3. ask your parents to ask other moms and people at work
4. ask old teachers!!!
