Alright, so I’m coming here from out of state with no connections. I know sororities check instagram to learn more about you, but I was wondering if it’s something that could get you cut? I don’t mean having pictures of drinking or bad things like that, I mean would they cut you because you don’t have many followers or posts? I only have about 200 followers and don’t post much and I just want to know if this could hurt me?

it probably won't hurt you if you don't have anything inappropriate on there but it probably won't help you much either if it's not a way for us to see what you're like and what represents you. that's pretty much what we use it for. it's just a bonus if it's a really cute instagram and we are able to see your family, friends, and what you like to do and stuff!

If you have your full name as your @ or as your name above the bio, it’ll make it easier! Also if you have a somewhat common name, making sure you have a graduation picture or something having to do with your high school in a picture so we know for sure that it’s you. But if that’s not your Instagram style, don’t sweat it.

some already have peaked but we go a lot deeper into it during work week/recruitment week and a few weeks before. try to get everything ready as soon as you can
