rec letters!

Is there anyway to make sure a rec letter was sent in? Like is it possible to email a sorority and ask? Only worried about one sorority because I had a difficult time finding someone and the one I found seems so busy I am worried it will skip her mind! Then I know pi phi says to mail it in. What if it gets lost in the mail? Ugh probably stressing for nothing but just wondering!

Really no way to know. Perhaps find a 2nd alum just in case? A follow up thank you note may remind your 1st alum to complete the process.

also if you want to check in with the woman you asked to write a rec too, there’s nothing wrong with that. word it in a very nice respectful way and just thank her for writing it and say if she hasn’t sent it yet the deadline is: ______
you can put it in a very nice way to remind them to send it in
