You can always say something like “I was so excited to come here today because I really love .... about xyz”

You could say something like— “I was really looking forward to this house.” “I was really happy to see this house on my schedule.”

I love their philanthropy! I also love all the “surface” things about them so I’m just excited to see if it’s somewhere I’d fit in.

Not the original poster but to answer the question from my perspective..... Tri Delt and Phi Mu are two chapters I am really interested in. Tri Delt because to me it’s what I always pictured in a sorority. I like the name ( ALOT) and love the philanthropy. Phi Mu for their colors ( LOVE pink!) and love their philanthropy. I think with so many girls in each chapter ,I can find people similar to myself. I have zero connections so may get cut from both or may end up liking different sorority better but that’s two that I am super interested in. The whole ranking thing at uark doesn’t matter to me. All sororities seem great. Atleast from social media, but honestly what do I know?? Ha ha

I don’t get how people can act like that. I do have one question though. Being in a bottom house, how do you feel when PNM’s say on the first day that they’re really happy and excited to be at your house, maybe even more so than other houses? There’s a “bottom” (i hate classing sororities like that but..) house that I’m really excited about but I don’t want to seem insincere or creepy saying that
