Hey PNMS!!! These are the most accurate descriptions and rankings of the sorority's here. Most students who go to school here will agree with these

Top Houses:
Kappa: Money, Pretty, Wont get in unless legacy or connections
Chio: Popular Girls, PC's getting worse because they only take legacies
PiPhi: Granola, Pretty, Easier to get into than top two, very desired house
Zeta: Pretty, fun girls. Boys love them, Connections matter less but still hard to get into

Middle:
Tri Delt- Pretty girls, eh eh sisterhood, beautiful house, desired if you can't get top houses
KD- sweet girls, will be more desired when they get there new house for rush next year
Phi Mu-party, crazy girls. Pretty, but obsessed with reputation
ADPi-cool girls, underrated, really good sisterhood just don't have as much presence on campus

Bottom:
AchiO- kind of a mix of girls, sweet girls, really good sisterhood, on the rise!
AOPi-crazy party girls. minimal presence on campus
DG-mix of girls, newer sorority so working on building sisterhood, should have good rush with new house!

This is super accurate. The only thing I would change is MAYBE switching ADPi and PhiMu. But that just depends on what type of girl you are I guess!!

“Granola” is like a new aged/more civilized hippie. So someone who is kinda earthy. I’d describe myself as a granola lol.

Is it gpa & connections that make it the most difficult to get into a “top house”? Will you be cut if you have a 3.4 or are you cut if you have below a 3.4? As long as your social media is clean, do they care if it’s “aesthetically pleasing” ?

If you don’t have the connections but you have the grades, is it possible to be carried to round 2 or most likely not?

Yes it is possible. I had top grades, leadership positions & "popular" activities. I did get alum recs for every sorority just so I could check off the "I did everything I could" box prior to recruitment, but no personal connections at UArk.

Was one of only 2 girls in my GChi group that got a full 8 party invitation list to second round including 3 out of 4 "top" houses. Ended up in a middle tier house (according to these rankings) because it is the best house FOR ME!!

PNMs Go to every house you are invited & find YOUR place, no matter what these silly rankings say about the sorority that calls to you!
