I’m not at this school yet so I’m sorry if this seems ignorant, but why would girls who don’t know anybody at this school expect to get one of the top 4 houses? At pretty much every Southern school it’s impossible to get into the top houses unless you know people already or are super impressive. I wouldn’t rank houses high on my list if I know I’m not going to get them back..

If you are a top quality girl your resume will get noticed by someone in house and they will find someone who knows someone who knows you. Just being pretty and cheer captain doesn’t make you top quality though. That’s where pnms get confused. Grades and leadership count for more in the top two houses than all others combined.

esp the 2 that are consistently mentioned as top. If itheyvare that exclusive- why really worry about them? And please- the 1-2 who always come in and give their unconnected top bid story- don’t.
