recs

Hey guys, I’m coming here from out of state where sororities aren’t really that common. Therefore it’s hard to find recs so I have to get them from alumnae chapters. Some of the sororities don’t have any alumnae chapters near me at all and some don’t have anyone who will write recs. Would it be okay to reach out to one of the Arkansas alumnae chapters to see if somebody could write me a rec or does that come across as desperate? I know the ladies are probably all very busy with other recs so..
