legacy top houses
by: Top houseOk I just said this on last post but I was so irritated I felt like giving it a thread. I feel certain posters have tried to imply that top houses are losing out by taking legacies. Well top houses have legacies that have the looks and the grades. Why? Because so many legacies go through and like I said way more than we give bids too. So if we have a girl with the looks and grades ( and personality ) that is a legacy why wouldn't we take them? They come with pride and tradition day one that other girls eventually acquire.

The only reason anyone says anything like that is because legacy houses usually miss out on a LOT of great girls. Not ALL great girls.. If you’re actually a top house, no one is ranking you low or anything so it is pretty obvious there are still some great girls in your house.

I am a legacy in an upper mid house on campus. I think we would all want our daughters to be given at least a second look before cut. Being a legacy only takes you so far. So many legacies go through like my good friend and she was cut because of grades.

I have read a lot about legacy heavy top houses. Does that include zeta and tri delt as well? Some sororities put more emphasis on being a legacy??

Because there are already too many of them, that’s very much first priority above oos legacies

I think the initial poster is probably a legacy and misread and took offense to something someone wrote. For sure the top houses have a lot of pretty girls with good grades ( cuz lets face it not even being a legacy can help you with a 3.0) that also happen to be a legacy. They do miss out on some great girls but we all do! That's what makes Arkansas a great place to go greek! We all have some amazing girls:)!
