time commitment

You will have chapter every Monday (mine starts at 6:30 and goes until 8ish, but others may be longer or shorter), typically you will have new member meetings once a week until you are initiated, and in the spring you will begin having recruitment practices. Sprinkled throughout are required pep rallies, pan events, and other required events. Plus you will likely want to get involved beyond required events. This is just a generalization of what its like in my chapter! I'm an engineering major and I've been able to manage but I don't have a job so I can't speak for that. good luck!

You should be used to juggling many activities on top of academics. That is IF you were super involved in your high school as well as keeping up your grades. IF you can't handle that or aren't used to the work load then don't rush. Waste of money.
