what should i do
by: high schoolhey guys i’m in high school now (i’m a junior currently, will apply here next year) and i’m just wondering what i can do to improve my chances of getting a bid? i’m not from the south and no one here really does sororities (if they do it’s just way different from what i understand) so i would just like some honest advice for rush here if i can get it :) thank you

To be honest, you will most likely end up with a bid to somewhere by the end of rush week. If you’re not a legacy and don’t have friends in the top tier houses it is unlikely that you will get a bid there especially being OOS. It’s best to keep a high GPA, and try to be really involved in high school (student body prez?). Clean up your Instagram because the houses will look at it. Go in with an open mind and “trust the process.” Everyone says it, but if you go in set on one house you will be very disappointed if they cut you and it will make it hard to find another house without feeling like you’re settling. Enjoy your senior year!
