recruitment and legacies
by: bruddaHi!! I toured a couple days ago and LOVED uark!! I'm only a junior, so I haven't really started on apps or sorority rec letters or anything like that, but I've always been super interested in being a part of greek life at whatever school I ended up going and to ask a few q's. How selective is the rush process and does being a legacy help? It probably all depends on which sorority, but my mom was a KD at Baylor; however I'm not closed minded and am open to anyone that'll take me haha!! Also, I've heard many, many horror stories about ole miss's greek life and rush process, so if you know anything about them would you say the rush process at uark is similar? Also, what do y'all look for during the recruitment process, and do you have a Greek Preview Day??:)

KD is a great chapter- not sure how far your legacy status will get you-
Recruitment can be fairly brutal here, it’s good you are open minded.
Not sure how many houses will take upperclassmen— so cannot really address that. AGD will be colonizing this fall- I think they will start strong bc there are many top students here who would like to be Greek.
Good luck and welcome. WPS!!

Oh, I'm a junior in hs, that's what I meant haha! Do y'all have a greek preview day? I know they have one at OU and OSU, but I really wanted to get to see what Greek life was like at uark. Thanks so much!
