some do and some don’t. i feel like alpha chi’s are super passionate about domestic violence awareness, trideltchio/zeta/adpi all have cancer related philanthropies that are really great and they seem passionate about theirs kappa and pi phi’s reading phianthropies kind of seem like an add on and they aren’t super into it. like, you wouldn’t go kappa or pi phi for the philanthropy lol. aopi arthritis and dg’s sight philanthropies are kind of just there and hard to get behind

every sorority has an AMAZING philanthropy!! You cannot “rank” philanthropies, that is just wrong. It is all volunteer work and donations for those in need, whichever house it is. If this was a PNM question, all of them are significant and all of them matter! If a specific philanthropy is really important to you, be sure to talk about it during recruitment :)

KD philanthropy is support of Girl Scouts as well as Child abuse America. They support these groups they are not members of these groups. For example Zeta is breast cancer you don’t have to know someone with breast cancer to support the cause... All sororities care about the philanthropy it’s a major focus to raise money and donate time For the cause

Want to be a part of a group- something bigger than yourself? Raise $$ and volunteer for a worthwhile philanthropy? Have some social events and make close friends? A family away from home during college? Recruitment for a Panhellenic organization could be for you.
There are also service oriented fraternities that are coed if that is more your scene. Also have social events- but all about service. Also a place to make close friends and find a home away from home.
This is silly. Let’s go further and debate colors. Come on.

Not trying to say you didn’t have fun at our philanthropy day but the only reason Girl Scouts is (ONE OF TWO) our philanthropy is because Prevent Child Abuse America does not let us go work hands on with those who have been impacted unless we go through a lot of training. None of our money goes to the Girl Scouts, only our time. All of our money goes to PCAA and the Child Safety Center in Springdale.
