weird question // bid day
by: uhhey y’all i know this might be a weird question but i’m planning on going through rush and i was watching the bid day videos from last year and noticed that it seems to take a long time for everyone to find their name card? how long does it actually take? and how do you find your name in such a large crowd and know where to go lol

You meet your Gamma Chi early in the morning and she gives you your bid in a sealed envelope. Then everyone goes en masse to the Greek Theater with your group. As you saw on the video, the PNM's have a pretty long wait before they open their envelopes. They know which houses they preffed & can scope out which direction to head.
As far as finding your name written on the owls, diamonds, dolphins, keys, etc that the initiated members have for the PNM's....it is chaotic with lots of yelling and squealing but really doesn't take more than 10 minutes to sort it all out.
