tiers
by: pnmDo tiers actually matter in real life? Meaning, do people give you mean looks or whatever just because of what sorority you’re in?

“Tiers” or “ranks” really only matter when you are going through recruitment. & for most, not even then. Once you get into a sorority, you’re going to make a lot of friends and you don’t worry about how you are “ranked”. The only people that I’ve met that worry about “ranks” are the girls that don’t make many friends in their chapter, and are more worried about other chapters reputations than their own.

Absolutely Not! No one knows cares about tiers as you get out into the world. Please know that as you become an adult and live your life, whatever sorority or fraternity you pledged is not important to those you meet. What is wonderful is if you are in greek life and can find an active alumni group in your city, it gives you a base wherever you are for a lifetime. If you pledge a sorority or fraternity with a great alumni it's a plus, but it's the sisterhood or brotherhood in your college years (the friends you make in your sorority or fraternity) that really matter most. Choose a great sisterhood or brotherhood and national active alumni group and you are set! Don't worry about tiers, it's how you like the sisterhood or brotherhood that matters most in the choice you make in college.
