spring rush??
by: HhI just received an email from the VP of a sorority that only spring rush by invite (friends of friend), asking to meet for coffee. She also followed me on Instagram. Does this mean I have a high chance of receiving a bid? Please no mean comments, I’m just excited

No one house "really" wants a girl. They can say they do, but there's always 100 other girls they also "really" want. Just be yourself and don't over think it!

There's literally no way to tell. You never know if a house really wants you until bid day (I'm not sure if they do that for informal spring). So many of friends swore that a particular house wanted them and they would get cut next round, and vice versa. I didn't think my house wanted me at all because it has a very hard rush but I ended up joining them! I think this is normal for most houses participating in spring rush, the VP emailing and social media following. Trust me, there's no special treatment when it comes to rush. It's very exciting when being recruited so take it all in and enjoy!!

Thank you for your replies but this sorority is not holding events and is very hush hush about it and only taking a handful of girls (my friend is in the house and told me), the VP hasn’t followed any non-greek or girls not in her sorority since she contacted me about a month ago so that is why I’m curious!
