heard their house is sinking and they don’t have any money to fix it so they had to just block part of it off. their members are mainly middle class or on scholarship so they don’t have any family or alums who could help them out.

Why do these chapters build houses they know they can’t afford? If you run out of money and can’t afford brick so you put up plywood instead? Or it sinks in the ground and you have to close it off? I’m not OP but how is she a snob by pointing out the obvious.

If you can’t be a baller like kappa then build what yo budget can afford. No rotting boards or sinking rooms.
