least favorite house

to be honest, kappa was my least favorite. before I get any hate or dislikes because it doesn't go with the normal status quo, I want to say I respect Kappa and think it's great how strong their sisterhood is and how high their grades are. With that being said, I personally don't know if they cut me. I cut them first round and got my top eight back, so maybe they did and maybe they didn't.

I personally thought their recruitment was very forced, maybe because I wasn't on their pre-bid list, maybe because i only was there for the first day and I know day one is the hardest for everyone. It turned me off towards them, especially considering kappa was my top house going into recruitment because of the girls I knew and how most of the girls from my hometown go kappa.

regardless, it shouldn't matter my personal experience because you will love wherever you go. I have friends who adore kappa, and I personally hold a lot of respect for them. Just because they were your least favorite does not mean you don't like them or no one likes them. It is just personal taste and the decisions you have to make which will help you find your own sisterhood.

My least favorite house through rush was Phi Mu. I know that’s hard to believe considering there are new houses that have a harder time rushing but every convo I had with them seemed like all they wanted to do was talk about their new house and bring other chapters down by saying how on the rise. I thought they were braggy without a right to be and would have rather heard about actual sisterhood instead of their attempt to climb a ladder.

Agree about PhiMu. I really wanted to like them but all they did was talk about their house. Didn’t seem interested in getting to know the pnms at all. Ranked them and ChiO last. Ranked ChiO last because I knew I wouldn’t get a bid from them due to some hs drama so wanted the satisfaction of saying I cut them. Thankfully only had two rounds with PhiMu before they dropped off my list since 2nd day wasn’t any better.

I also didn’t like phi mu. Day 1 was okay, they talked about the house and it was fine. But on philanthropy the girls I talked to spent the entire time talking about the house and bashing other sororities. I kept asking questions about their philanthropy and they just ignored that I was interested in that and kept talking about the house. It was just weird
