If you are open minded, you have a better chance of having a successful recruitment. Get your rec letters.

It seems that the school is experiencing some growth and it reflects in Greek life as well. With the growth, houses have changed from older to newer chapter divisions.

What is difficult during recruitment is being surrounded by Arkansas girls who are obsessed with the older chapters and very closed to the newer chapters. So it takes a strong and independent minded PNM to ignore the tent talk and be open to the newer chapters. The Arkansas girls seem resentful that the school is changing and more top out of state students are choosing Univ of Arkansas. Many are extremely rude individuals who have not evolved past their high school days.

It is a wonderful school and the campus is beautiful.

If you are an open minded PNM, you’ll do great in recruitment. And like another poster pointed out— another chapter is colonizing in the fall. AGD. Lots of good things!!

Majority of PNMs do get bids. But if for some reason you don’t or you chose to drop we are getting a new chapter on campus next year! If you are open during recruitment you probably will get a bid but if not be an establishing member of AGD!

If you don’t get obsessed with rankings and are open to any house you will find a home. GPA and rep risks are the main reason girls are cut.

What are the grade cuts like?

This is a gray area. If you have a High gpa— do not get a false sense of security. Many many girls who had 3.8 and higher were cut from many houses.
