do rankings matter?

Do boys actually care about sorority rankings? or is this just something us girls make up to find another way to compete with each other?
Do they look at sororities like a rank? or just discriminate against specific ones?
Just curious.

I personally am in a “bottom” house. I have never experienced a frat boy caring what house I am in. The only people who make a big deal about it are other girls. People say they have seen girls not let into parties because of their house but in my 3.5 years I’ve never experienced that or seen it happen to others.

Boys do have a reaction and stigma to the a house based on its rankings but they are not crazy about it. They know a rough grasp of the rankings but you won’t be turned away at parties for being a low house. It depends on the guy but for the most part it will be taken into account a small amount.

witnessed two bottom tier sorority girls getting asked to leave from ksig preparty before. not pretty.
