by: High School WonderingHow do you all think DG will rank when they get their new house? I know a few pledges in the house that I absolutely love. I know that no one ever ranks them high and I have even heard that certain fraternities don’t even want to associate with them. I personally wouldn’t want to hang with frats who are that close minded but don’t even know if that is true. My GPA will get me cut from most houses so just wondering about DG. Thoughts??

The sad truth is that most frats have the mentality of "as long is they're not a DG". However, if you're a chill DG and you're at their frat party, they aren't going to care whether you're a DG or Kappa.
DG will probably be great once they get their house. Their alumnae base here is great.

DG is ranked low because they are new. Same as AChiO and PhiMu. Generally new houses have to take more rep and grade risks than more established houses to get their numbers. It takes time to build a rep on a new campus. Doesn’t mean anything is wrong with the house. Ark has so many girls go through that it makes all houses here strong. Getting a new house will help DG. AChiO’s rep is already rising due to their house. PhiMu hasn’t benefitted as much but I think people were turned off to their constant self ranking.

The fact of the matter is DG is great now! They have had smart, beautiful, funny, genuine girls from their very first pledge class two years ago. It seems they are singled out for being the new kids on the block. I feel sorry for the new sorority coming next year. It won’t stand a chance. Funny how Phi Mu and AXO were ripped apart until they got a house. Now they are top ranked!?! Why should a house determine the quality of a groups character?
