Status seekers are girls who care about looks, designer clothes, the car you drive, how much money you have, what others think of your house. A status seeker can be in a top or bottom tier house. A non status seeker doesn’t care. She just wants a sisterhood and genuine friendships and wants everyone to be as happy as she is. A non status seeker can be in a top or bottom house. The problems start when you have a status seeker in a bottom house. She will be fueled by jealousy of what she doesn’t have and make rude unnecessary remarks to make herself feel more important. All houses at UARK are great and a girl should be proud to be a part of any house who sees something in her to give her a bid. Focus on your sisters and what you can contribute to your house to make your house a better house on campus. That way we can all get along which is the goal of Panhellenic sisterhood in the first place.
