phimu’s troubles

This is what I see happened to PhiMu. Not a PhiMu or Kappa but I know girls in both. I’m using Kappa since they’re right next door but could have used ChiO or maybe PiPhi. Kappa has been on campus over 100 years with a solid wealthy alumni base. Their house is filled with priceless antiques and custom made tables with their sorority symbols carved in them. The chandelier in their entry was donated by the Jerry Jones family and costs an unbelievable amount of money. The wallpaper in their house was all custom made in kappa blue with a pattern especially for their house. During their 7 million dollar reno pledge class alumni came together and picked individual rooms to redo allowing rooms to cost more than 250k each. At 46,350sf it is also the biggest house on campus. A lot of history and money are in that house. So now here comes PhiMu who have only been on campus a few years. They build a huge gaudy mansion way too big for their lot. No pretty lawn with flowers to pose for pictures. And worse the nouveau riches have run out of money and now have a clapboard back for kappa to stare at. At 30,800sf it is a lot smaller than kappa. It’s furnishings are standard sorority house. Nice but no alumni to donate priceless antiques. Kappa doesn’t care since they don’t go after the same type of girl during recruitment. But now bid day comes and all of a sudden all the new PhiMu’s are screaming they have the biggest house and a better pledge class than anyone and now they are a top house. Kappa thinks it’s funny at first. Let them have their moment since PhiMu’s are kinda irrelevant to them and their life anyway. But now they won’t shut up and keep on bragging constantly about how they are the biggest house and the top house which makes them a target for people to not like them at all anymore.
