by: advicePlease don’t brag about how your house will be the biggest DG house ever when it obviously won’t be and then bragging about how it will be the biggest house on campus when it obviously won’t be. Look at PhiMu and TriDelt. Trideezy still swearing their house will be ready to move in on Thursday and have spent all summer lying and being confrontational about something that really is no big deal. It hurt their recruitment because of it. PhiMu thought bragging about their big house would automatically make them a top house then realized everyone knew it was hollow in the middle and made of clapboard since they ran out of money. So now they are still a bottom house and everyone wishes they would just shut up and quit being so annoying and desperate to be liked. Be like AchiO who also got a great house and had a great recruitment. They were proud of their house without having to brag about it. So when you move in next summer be proud and happy for yourselves. You can do it without bragging. Panhellenic will be proud and happy for you as well.

You’re telling me their house is completely finished and the actives are moving their stuff in? Nope.

KKG and Pi Phi houses are biggest according to published literature, Tri-Delt will be in between these two in size. Not sure about new KD house, but old house was 28,000sf. All the other houses including XO are 30,000sf (give or take a few sf)
PNM that ranks based on "size of house" and minimal square footage size are not only superficial but don't deserve a great UARK sorority membership-it's the sisterhood that makes the house! All the new houses are great and the older houses have charm. And remember, location matters as well, some of the new houses right on Maple by campus have the most desirable (and expensive) lots.
BTW. You are right about AXO who not only got a beautiful, joyful new house (27,000 sf and room to expand in back, btw), but a super recruitment with the cutest girls ever! It's the sisterhood, not square footage, that matters!

OP, how can you speak on something you don’t know? It is obvious that DG won’t be the biggest on campus, and it’s obvious they shouldn’t lie and make a big deal out of the house like DDD and Phi Mu. But unless you are a DG how do you know they wont be the biggest DG house in the country? If they are saying they will be then it’s probably the alum saying they will be and wouldn’t house corp know better than you would?
There’s nothing wrong with being proud of your new house and if OP was getting a new house she would be excited as well.
