Alums have way too much control. They refuse to listen when we try and tell them the girls they force us to top are going to another house and they will drop rather than come here. Like last year when we were forced to give a top legacy of a top house a bid because our advisor was friends with the pnms mom. She didn’t take the bid and is in that top house this year. Advisors should serve no longer than 5 years. Ours is super annoying and controlling. I’ve personally watched her last year and the year before lie to alums about girls she was responsible for cutting. I lied to get out of work week and recruitment just so I didn’t have to deal with her and I know so did a lot of my friends.

Hey it’s bad for the legacies that get a bid to a house that didn’t really want them. My friend still has never really bonded with anyone in her legacy house. She went with them on pref because of pressure from her mom even though she liked another house better. Trust me she hears every word of their mean girl whispers about well you know she’s a legacy.

Ok lets be honest, the freshman pep rally is a toss up. does not determine quality of girls or how they will impact campus. if they had a good pledge class, fine, but don't use the freshman pep rally (lol again) to determine their quality!!
