grade risks

I think it is sad that sororities look more at GPA than quality of the PNM. They would rather take girls with high GPA’s over great girls with a bit lower GPA. It’s crazy to me.

They took great girls WITH high gpa’s. There are so many quality girls that go through recruitment each year some houses have to start with cuts somewhere so it’s usually gpa. ChiO and Kappa were told to cut 1200+ pnms first day so grades and recs are the easiest mass cut if they don’t know you. The real winners are the houses that did take low gpa’s and got some great girls.

gpa cuts were harsh this year. be grateful to any house that took a chance on lower gpa’s.

I don’t consider a 3.2 from a highly competitve school to be a grade risk but obviously they thought different. I’m making the best of it but feel like I would have fit in better at other houses if they had taken the time to get to know me past the first day.
