transfer sophmores??

Are you transferring or just taking this semester off? If it is that you have differed your 1st year to start 2nd semester you’ll likely still be considered a freshman. And if you can kill it in the gpa next semester you might be really good. If transferring you will be considered a soph not as good as a freshman, but not a second time PNM. I do wonder why you already know your transferring this soon in the semester?

I rushed as a sophomore & got into a house I absolutely adorreee!!! only one chapter has a complete rule against taking soph's (ZTA), but almost all the others took at least one this year! If you don't have any connections, "top houses" will cut you, but if you have a kick ass GPA/rec letters/involvement most middle tiers will take you! If not, AXO and DG offered a lot of sophs bids. Also the new sorority coming to campus will be doing informal recruitment this year so you could join this spring or next fall! Pls rush, if you don't like it then you can drop,but you'll regret it if you don't try. ALL houses have AMAZING girls bc we are a top greek school. Best of luck!(:

I transferred here in a Spring semester and didn’t partake in formal recruitment & STILL landed a great house where I really wanted to go! Honestly COB’s and reaching out to girls you make friends with in other chapters for info is the best way to go! Recruitment that is formal is so stressful and COBing really was awesome for me because I basically got to pick the house I wanted. It will be easier if you have friends in other chapters upon arriving but just to keep your options open; for sure reach out to panhellenic!!
