sorority verses sorority
by: WhyWhy are most women on this site being so petty and cutting each other down? We are ALL a part of the Greek system of the University of Arkansas. We should be united and show that UARK is a great school with a strong Greek life. Please quit putting each other down. It makes us all look immature and divided.

Best post I have read! Any girl can be happy in any sorority and its a privilege to be a member. All of these mean comments about other sororities is so disappointing. You are exactly right - you should be united, support your sisters and the other houses and make Greek Life strong. Referring to a house as the "best" or the "bottom" is just plain ridiculous and rude. People who make these comments will never be happy and the girls who embrace their opportunity to be a member of a house will make their lifelong friends.

I think it’s the moms on here stirring stuff up. I was cut from my mom’s “top” legacy house before pref. I love the house I ended up in and am a much better fit but my mom still showed up on bid day wearing her pin and telling me she was happy for me but wished we could have been sisters and how I “deserved” a better house.

I’m actually in a sorority at UARK unlike 90% of these posts. When I see a girl in Greek letters I’m proud for her no matter her house. Why? Because I know she went through one of the most competitive recruitments in the country and joined one of 11 houses I would be proud to call my own. I’m happy for the sisterhood I know she has gained and all the memories ahead! Look at the Panhellenic page and see if you can guess who is in what house! You can’t because everyone of them is an accomplished and cute girl who would fit in anywhere! Pan luv to all my greek sisters! To all you trolls just stop it until you actually come to our campus and see what Greek life at UARK is really about!
