I’m so sorry gal! I’ve been in the exact same situation and I really feel for you. I found my home during COB and you can too! The only difficult thing is, you won’t know which houses are doing COB until spring semester. DG usually has COB since they’re newer, and AXO, Phi mu, and ADpi have in the past.

since they are still new on campus, their total chapter size is still small, relatively. So they will probably do spring COB

It's probable with the new member class that DG took with MC'18 that they won't be participating in Spring COB. Sorry. The best advice I can give you is to contact the Panhellenic office and let them know you are interested and maybe they will let you know if any chapters decide to participate.

It really all depends on the retention rate of the chapters. If a lot of people drop they will have spots to fill. If no one drops they won’t do COB.

No one will know who is COB-eligible this fall until Panhellenic resets the new campus total in a week or two. Then, any chapters below total - whether they made quota or not- will be eligible.
For anyone who is interested in COB, the best thing you can do is 1) let the Greek Life office know you’re interested and to share your contact info with chapters who are doing COB this fall
2) let your close friends who got bids know that you’re interested in COB should they hear their chapter is participating.
Chapters handle Fall COB one of the ways:
1) Get bids out asap to pnm’s they’ve shortlisted so they can hop into the new member class that just pledged today,
2) Take their time and schedule informal rush events later this fall once the new member class is initiated or close to being initiated.
