skipping parties

While waiting in the church for my parties the past two days I overheard several girls talk about how they skipped some of their parties. They said that they did not want to waste their time at those houses because no way would they accept a bid from them, and they just wanted to rest instead. Is this even allowed? Sounds like those girls should just be dismissed from rush for just being so incredibly rude to those houses that were gracious enough to invite them back.

If a girl is disrespectful enough to skip a party because she thinks she is entitled to something better than she doesn’t deserve a bid at all. It is Panhellenic rule that you must attend the parties you’re invited to so they should be dismissed.

if a PNM skips parties, they will be dismissed from recruitment. This is also true if they are outright rude to actives during rounds. I've heard crazy stories about PNMs just not even speaking or looking at actives. Just like PNMs have a bill of rights, actives have the right to not be disrespected by PNMs.

I doubt it, they probably get away with it because it isn't enforced.

Yes it’s true and if they are discovered they will be dismissed. Just like if a pnm is rude and disrespectful at a party. And it HAS happened in the past
