top house question
by: Helpafter getting cut from the "top houses" I dropped this morning. I would like to know why I got cut by all the ones I liked. do you have to be famous or an Instagram model to get asked back to kappa? do u have to be a rich partier to be brought back to chi o? base on what I've heard for the week

You should not have dropped.
PNM’s if you happen to read this, don’t make a rash decision and drop because you don’t get the house you wanted. What you have left are the houses who want you!
No matter the house you will probably be super close to about 10 girls. You will find people you can relate to in every house! Stick with it!

I’m hoping you wrote this OP cause you’re disappointed you didn’t get invite back and are just in your feelings. I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt however, if you truly think houses other than the so called “top houses” aren’t worthy of you joining them, they dodged a bullet with you dropping. Too many girls with inflated egos, thinking they were all that in high school thinking they are entitled to be in a “top house”
As PNM’s are finding out, you are lucky to get a bid to any house.

TBH I'm glad you dropped. I don't want a sister who thinks they're too good for any house - and I'm in one of those houses you mentioned! Actives can tell when someone has a better-than-you attitude and listens to gossip, and that's not what makes a good sorority woman.

I’m sorry you thought you were to good for all but 3-5 chapters here. Arkansas rush is one of the most brutal in the country and every girl who gets a bid is LUCKY to be part of the sorority system here.
Hopefully you won’t regret that you just missed your best chance to go Greek. If the “top” houses that released you didn’t want you as a desirable freshman, they never will. And if you don’t hold your emotions VERY close to your chest, the other chapters will get wind of how stuck up you are and not ever offer you the chance to pledge as a sophomore or COB.
