So after first round how are the top two doing? Personally I don’t get what everyone sees in Kappa. Loved Chi O but thought Zeta and Pi Phi were most impressive!

As a PNM i have heard from a lot of girls. Kappa took quite a bit more back than Chi O. The biggest surprise was hearing multiple legacies of Chi O getting cut. Lots of crying and dropping, to a lot of my surpise. Maybe my sample size was skewed? but it was definitely a surprise to see Chi O on my schedule but not any of the other top four houses-- especially since I am not a legacy and know no one in house.

A lot of PNMs think kappa is cute though, while few call it too forced-- but is it really rush week if it isn't really forced?

A lot of girls are ragging on Chi O because their PNM lines are substanially shorter than all of the other sorority lines, and have called them stuck up w/ no respect for legacies. Makes me wonder if they are rebelling a bit this year from their alumni? we'll see.

Lastly, a really fun fact, Kappa kept a girl with a 2.9 GPA.... The girl was cut from all houses except for DG and Kappa. Such a weird duo... girl had a major internship under her belt though.

Legacies don’t get cut until tomorrow and 2.9 is below national cut off. All legacies in all houses are guaranteed a courtesy invite back after first day. Liked your story though.

With Vogue. And Yes. The girl straight up told us she has a 2.9, and showed us her schedule. Low and benold she had Kappa and DG.

You could take a few easy classes online over and raise it. $4000 on classes is super cheap to get your gpa up.

kappa is required to keep any and all legacies (even grade risks) through the first round (philanthropy) of recruitment
