by: haha helpSo I'm an average PNM, I am not a legacy nor am I friends with many girls in many houses- especially Chi O. My GPA is a 3.31, and I made it past first round. How did that happen? Was it because my conversations went really well? A mistake? Do grades get looked at again throughout the week? Help. I am so pleasantly surprised, yet confused and don't want to be let down.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up just because you passed the first round to some top houses. Even though houses like Chi O and Kappa cut a lot of girls on the first day- and some might say they already have their PCs picked out- they still have to keep other gorls and invite them back. Think about it- they have to invite more girls back than they want to invite back for sisterhood round on philanthropy round, and the same for sisterhood compared to pref. If you make it past this round, then of course they see SOMETHING in you, but don’t get your hopes up with any house until Pref. Also, don’t think of yourself as average, I’m sure you’re extraordinary!
