Kappa does NOT zip code. This is a false rumor that gets brought up every year at this time. They could care less about your zip code or family income. Kappa does focus on pnms with top grades and leadership abilities.

No one zip codes. Houses do try and limit the girls they take from a particular area to make it fair.

Yes. They are first as far as the state of Arkansas goes but it should not affect you if you are OOS.

this question made me laugh out loud. NO kappa does not do this smh..... ALSO it doesn't matter if you're in state, out of state, out of COUNTRY..... KAPPA WILL LOVE YOU if you are a good fit for them!! If you got cut from kappa, it is because you are going to thrive somewhere else!

I mean yeah if you are good friends with someone in a top house you're probably going to get a bid there.
But I did not know anyone personally in kappa but I got a bid. It's about your resume, leadership qualities, personality, etc. NOT just who you know.
What happens is a girl will talk to you on the first day and really like you, will look @ your resume, and FIGHT for you in the house if they like what they see! This happens more than you think.

if Kappas take 1 in 75 of the PNMs that equates to about 22 girls. For a 130 pc that would then mean about 16% of the class were not “connected”, I’d say that was a very fair chance! Do you think less than 85% of any house has no connection? The rec from Your hometown alum is a connection.
So are you unsuccessfully exaggerating or just really uninformed?

If a pledge class is 150 girls that would equate to 2 of them not having connections, so yeah that seems about right. Your chances are slim to none if you do not have connections and want a top house
