Pretty sure the updates about the house on social media pages are verified and confirmed by people directly involved with house construction.

Renos get delayed all the time. It’s not a big deal. I think the new house is going to be really pretty and unique. TriDelt needs to stop being defensive and swearing it’s going to be ready on the 20th. That’s what is getting everyone worked up and making fun of y’all. Just chill everyone.

Stop the zoom and crop on the pics. Enough already and like super annoying. It will be finished soon and no one doubts it will be awesome. In 3 days every pnm will be able to see that it isn’t finished it and not one pnm would have cared.

Renos running behind schedule is one thing. Lying to everyone about when it would be completed is another. Unless you are someone operating with limited intelligence you could clearly look at the house any time in the last 4 months and know it would not be completed August 1. Your contractor might be off schedule but believing you were told by anyone that it would be completed any time in August or September in the last few months is impossible to believe. The only public post seen are from those associated with the house saying it would be ready not anyone in the construction management field. The only post seen saying it would be a couple of weeks are from the same people. There are windows doors and brick still missing from the exterior. Rooms and rooms and rooms without lighting flooring receptacles or painted walls

Why do you care so much? What is the point of you posting negative things about this? The house will be done when its done. It will be done soon. It will be amazing. The fact the construction progress on $13M house has not been completed in a rushed time frame does not reflect negatively on the sisterhood and integrity of the sorority. Preserving a historical sorority house takes longer to build than from just starting from scratch.

Your nasty and negative comments seem as if you are blaming college girls for not having a construction project done in time.

The house will be amazing and will be done soon. Chill. Your posts about it makes you sound jealous and immature. More of a reflection of you than the Tri Delts.
Embarrassed for you.

The university and the contractor will not let the sorority take possession of house until September. Yes, it was posted by alum July 13th that house would be ready in time for recruitment and move in ,a true statement at current time. An update posted 10 days later about information received a couple days prior that house would not be ready and the tentative move in date would be August 26th,true statement at current time. Permission to occupy has to be obtained before possession of house can occur which will be in September. The only conclusion one could draw from any of this is that those posting are relaying information they know and believe to be 100% true was and is 100% true. 11-13 days notice for those living in house is hardly last minute. It’s more than enough time to prepare. It is also more than enough time to make alternate plans if dissatisfied with alternate living accommodations.

The post you are responding to doesn’t say it’s the fault of college. Your post is the only one stating anything about college girls. Why even bring them up? Leave them out if it. Embarrassed and ashamed on your behalf. Historical sites do take time. Other houses are historical sites and there members occupied house in time.

Does it really matter when the house is completed! Yes the occupancy date has been moved back. It is going to be an asset to have an amazing house like this on campus! It just sounds like some people are jealous! Just be happy for them!
