You only need one rec for each sorority. You may have many letters of support though. That would help.

for top houses (chi o, kappa, zeta, pi phi) we recommend having 2-4 recs. any more than that is overkill. 1-2 recs would be fine for other houses. some lower tier houses may still keep you even if you didn't get a rec for them

The house can do an in house rec or get alum to write one for you if they do not have one for you.
