informal rush
by: freshmanDo most house make quota? I did not sign up for rush and now regret it. I am hopeful that some sororities will have informal rush during the school year. If so, when does it generally occur?

the only sorority that does spring rush is dg bc they have so many girls drop from fall rush, but adpi, phi mu and sometimes alpha chi do a "secret bid" where you basically just have to be friends with people in the sorority to get in during the spring. alpha chi didnt do one last year bc they had a huge fall pc. but yeah all the other sororities meet quota during the spring

Alpha Chi called girls a day or two after bid day last fall to come to talk to them about joining, Delta Gamma did it a couple of weeks later. Phi Mu took a few after recruitment as well.
Not sure if anyone else did it.
Contact Panhellenic office and let them know you’d be interested in COB (continuous open bidding). If any chapter is going to take girls after recruitment, the chapter will contact the Panhellenic office.
