real advice

Arkansas has one of the toughest recruitments in the nation. I would place it at #2 behind Bama. So much of recruitment is a numbers game and does not reflect on the pnm. Each house wants so many more girls than bids available. If you are lucky enough to receive a bid to any house please take it! I would be proud to be a sister in any house on campus. Please don’t end up alone in your dorm on bid day because you listened to some stupid ranks on this site. We really do support one another!

carried top houses up until pref. i consider myself attractive and had great recs top grades leadership positions and friends in house. was devastated to see only lower ranked houses left for pref. dropped instead of having to go one of these lowly houses. when i went through again as soph had these same houses for pref. i went a lower tier house and my only regret has been not pledging my first year. i missed an entire year of getting to know some of the funniest cutest smartest most supportive sisters on campus. please give all houses a chance even if you are disappointed you get cut from the houses you though you had to have.

Accept your bid. YOU WILL regret it if you don't! Panhellenic really does support each other. Don't believe the crap on this site.

Greek Life here at Arkansas is so fun! No matter the letters. Yes, some win more competitions than others, but all houses participate! You will all have formals, meetings, socials, service opportunities, etc. So please take the BID from the sisters who WANT you!

Arkansas holds itself to a very high standard. Something like this would never happen here. It’s why we are one of the best Greek systems in the country:

“The Delta Beta Chapter of Delta Delta Delta sorority has been found responsible for violating the Miami University Code of Student Conduct, Section 105B Prohibited Use of Alcohol and Section 109, Hazing.

It was reported that on Jan. 29, active members of Delta Delta Delta sorority “kidnapped” new members from the Delta Delta Delta sorority suite and took them to an off-campus location where they were blindfolded and forced to drink alcohol.”

blindfolded and taken to a location off campus and left there. Why? Would this happen at Arkansas? Of course not! That house would be suspended for at least two years or possibly four so nattys could clean house.

Ok what the heck honestly recruitment at Arkansas is NOT the second toughest, i love my school but we don't have as crazy of a recruitment as bama, ole miss, auburn, or UGA. Just go in with an open mind and know that some top houses (like most schools) primarily take legacies but there's no reason you can't wiggle yourself in. Be you and really try to make a genuine connection with someone in a house you know you have your sights on. If that doesn't work you weren't meant to be in that sorority and you'll end up in the one you love

I agree definitely not nearly the toughest. Ever heard of the University of Texas at Austin? Now THAT is a tough rush.

Ole Miss Rush is brutal! Most lists are already formulated by June because of those helicopters moms. I’m in a middle tier house- let’s just say at Ole Miss financial and social status outweigh the girl herself! Good luck to all the girls going through recruitment- God will place you in the right house!
