kinda dumb question

by:

Do certain houses only hang out with each other or does everyone get along because they are Greek? Like based on rankings from this site would a ChiO hang out with an AChiO? I know I won’t get in a top tier house but I also don’t want to be looked down on because I didn’t.

maybe when you are a freshman first semester but that is because you are so busy with your sorority activities. I don’t think anyone really cares which house you are in. we all support each other!

You are free to hang out with whom ever you want to. You have chapter meetings that you attend once a week but other that is the only thing you are required to do. Everything else is completely your choice. You will have 2 or 3 functions your freshman year but you are not required to attend. There will be something maybe once a month you can do to earn points to live the house. More than likely it will not require but like an hour or two of your time. On average a sorority takes up about 6-8 hours per month (this time is including chapter meeting) from bid day until around April when you'll begin practicing for recruitment. It's not something you will be doing more than an hour or two a week.

It doesn’t take up that much time. Quite honestly the only thing time consuming is recruitment. Two weeks before school starts and practicing the later part of second semester for upcoming recruitment. Plan on an hour or two a week most weeks and maybe three or four hours a week a few times during the year.
