The mutual selection process is a tad confusing but here we go:
On Pref day, you rank your last two houses. If your first house picks you too, you're matched. If your first house doesn't pick you, you are paired with your second house. You will only get a bid from one house.
What do we look for? There is no checklist of what to say, how often you should laugh, or what you should wear. Really. There isnt. I always freaked out about that during rush.
The best advice I can give you is to just be yourself. Try to be as comfortable as possible and you will find the house that is the best fit for your personality!
