top house pnms already decided
by: PnmIf top houses already have their pnms decided then who already decided? Do the alumni give them a list of who they have to take or do the actives just all pick their friends? Does a pnm who doesn’t know an alumni or active even stand a chance? I’m already nervous about recruitment and am dreading showing up the first day knowing they probably don’t even want me.

please don’t believe posts on here saying you can’t get a bid to a top house without connections. connections help but we take girls every single year who come through recruitment knowing no one in house. if you have a high gpa and strong resume and have a great convo you can get a bid to a top house!

You absolutely don't have to have connections to get into a top house if they like you and you have a strong resume. but even if you don't get a bid to what you want I know you hear it all the time but it works itself out and you'll end up where you need to be. I know so many girls who cried their eyes out on bid day and almost didn't take their bid because it wasn't their first pick but then met their best friends and future bridesmaids within a few weeks of being at the house.

So the top houses have decided? Last year two top houses cut girls who had an in the house active sister. So what you are saying is that for months they knew exactly what they were going to do to the sisters of their active members. If this is true that kind of mean is the mean you should be scared of. It's the mean that last forever.
#5by: Stop the gossip
Stop the gossip by spreading gossip about someone and someone else's boyfriend. So typical. Pay close attention pnms this is a perfect example of how mean girls operate. They can't move on so they continue to harass girls who do not deserve it. Once they see their plan to ruin someone does not work, because it never does, they keep trying thinking they'll succeed. The only chances ruined are the ones who will be forever remembered for their mean spirited and hateful actions.

If I were going to run to my sister's defense I might would take the route that requires proper upbringing and intelligence and suggest breaking up with the boyfriend and moving forward. Bullying just makes you look bad and is generally what people remember years later. Such as, do you remember how crazy that girl was and how she went psycho over that one guy? How she got everyone involved in her relationship and wanted everyone to be mean to that girl for absolutely no reason? I bet he's glad he got away from her. lol

I do not understand how something that kept you out of sorority’ one year does not matter the next year. One person should not hold that much power. People say things when they are mad or are defending themselves. We have all said things we regret. This is all so juvenile and petty. This is like a skit on SNL of the stereotypical sorority girl drama.
