first day cuts

Which houses cut you on the first day? Does anyone ever get cut first day from a bottom tier house or is it all top houses?

These houses cut 1000 girls first day and take around 100 to 115 girls on bid day. Fast forward 2 years from bid day and none of those houses mentioned have 100 to 115 or even 75 girls left as juniors. They will have 35 to 50 at the most!
