who doesn't get a bid?
by: Future Hog!Hi everyone! I'm going to rush at the U of A this fall, but I don't really know a lot about it. I've done a little research, but I still have some questions. Which sororities are considered top tier? And my main question is, what kind of girls are the ones that usually don't get a bid at all? Thanks! :)

Most of the time when a girl doesn't get a bid from any of the houses it is because of her GPA. Every house has a different minimum but they all have one. The bid rate of Arkansas is pretty high, so if you stay optimistic and stick out rush till the end you are about 85-90% likely to get a bid. As far a "top houses" everyone has a different opinion. Just look at what house you feel is truly the best one for you based on the experience you have in the houses and not won hat other people say. Everyone feels like their house is top once they get a bid and make that house their home and their sisters their friends. As far as what "top houses" look for it is hard to say because each house is so diverse with such large pledge classes. Just be yourself and you will be most likely to wind up with sisters who will love you for who you are, and who you will love back.
