Pretty selective in my opinion. Gpa is a big factor in rush and top houses cut a lot for sure but everyone gets a bid usually.

it can be very competitive for top houses but if you are open to any house that gives you a bid then you will be fine.

unless you have a really low gpa or a rep risk you will get a bid. just don't be one of those pnms who drop because you aren't happy with the houses you have left.

the percentage the greek life office puts out is really the percentage of people who actually complete recruitment and get bids. its extremely cut throat and it is very possible to wind up with no bid. i got cut from all but three houses at open house as did my roommate and my best friend and like 1/4 my gamma chi group. after philanthropy i had one house left that did not cut me and im 95% sure i only didn't get cut because I was a legacy and I had a 4.2 GPA and was EXTREMELY involved in high school, like president of six clubs level involved, but i was awkward when I first got here and I knew no one. I have a friend who got 6 houses back after open house and was cut from all 6 of them at philanthropy, so its very possible to be cut from everything, do not ever assume you are safe.
