by: ConfusedI rushed as a freshman this year and after open house I got cut from a lot and ended up dropping recruitment. my entire high school friend group got into a house and I’m friends with all the same actives as them. I had a 4.0 and I’m just really confused bc I go over to the house all the time and I’m not salty or anything I’m just confused and it still affects me. could of it been a glitch in the system? Idk I feel like I can’t relate to my friends anymore bc they have this sisterhood bond that I’m not apart of. Should I rush as a sophmore?

I got out. My freshman year there was bid day, few functions first semester (attended by less than half of membership) and then mom's weekend second semester. Sophomore year has been two weeks of rush (not fun at all) and then bid day, after that your year is over. Other than meetings most of the girls never see each other. It just was too much money to justify saying it was worth it. I am trading in Greek life for studying abroad. Just wasn't what everyone said it would be.
