cut by top houses
by: curious pnmI have my heart set on a top house. I'm scared if I get cut and end up in another house I'll walk by the top house or see girls in those letters and always wonder what if and won't be committed to the house that did want me. Do any of you still feel bad about the house you wanted but cut you or do you just move on?

Is Arkansas really that bad? I guess the stories I' have heard are all true. 1800 girls rushing and not even 300 are girls are decent. You would think Arkansas would catch up with other SEC schools and have more than 2-3 top houses. Are the 300 girls even that great or just good for Arkansas? Sounds like your entire Greek life needs help!

Here’s some real life grown up advice. Don’t have your heart set on 1 house. You probably won’t get that house if we’re being honest. Sorry to be harsh but it sounds like you’re setting yourself up for disappointment and trust me, what house you get should be the last thing you’re worried about for college.

Don’t have your heart set on anything until you go through the first two days at least. I walked into one top house that I thought I would love and was like nope. I walked into a middle tier house that I hadn’t thought much about and loved it. But to answer your question, the best way to not think about another house is to immerse yourself into the house you got. If you participate and attend events and hang out at the house you will meet girls you love and you will be happy. The best thing about having such large chapters is that no house fits a stereotype.
