rushing as a sophomore

I didn’t rush last fall but so many of my friends have convinced me to rush in the fall. Ive heard sororities take verrryyy few (if any sophomores) so what would you need to rush as a sophomore(gpa/connections/anything)/what are the chances of even getting a bid.

Sophomores go through recruitment all the time. Some houses take more than others. You will be fine especially if you already know some girls in house.

if you have a solid GPA and involvement you should be fine! Do be aware that a lot of houses will cut you immediately based on the fact that you are a sophomore, but you still should have a solid shot at about 7 houses no matter what, so don't be discouraged! Freshman year I convinced many of my friends to rush as sophomores and they absolutely love the houses they are in now.
