need advice
by: stressinif i cover all the bases for an optimal PNM(activeness in extracurriculars, looks, money, good social media, good personality) but have a GPA of 3.38 (with multiple honors classes taken), what are the odds i get a bid from the top houses? or what sororities am i looking at getting a bid from? i'm super nervous my gpa with obliterate any decent chance of getting bids.

your GPA is not bad. do you have any connections to any top houses? that has a huge factor. kappa and chi o might cut you first day but you may be able to keep pi phi and zeta around for a little bit. depends on your conversations and so many other factors but all 4 of these houses are super selective you'd be lucky with any

Hey girl! Don't be stressin! Two important things: I thought I had a 3.2 and somehow ended with a 3.4 so you never know until your final grades are in! Second thing is I had all my tops all the way through which is really rare. Sisterhood I had top three, ZTA and then I ranked a lower middle tier house over supposedly higher houses. I had no connections to them but loved the girls! For pref i ranked one of the top two and then ZTA over the other top houses because again I loved the girls. I pledged the top house and love it but would have been happy either way. So don't get hung up on tiers and rankings. Go where you feel is right! To answer your last questions my house is strict on the 3.4 unless you have some strong in house connections willing to stand up and fight for you. Otherwise then we do cut at 3.4.

I know the grade requirement for chi o and kappa and you’re fine. (Close but fine) if they cut you it’s not for that reason. Also don’t be so stressed about rush!! What sorority you get is probably one of the least important things about college, especially considering every house at Arkansas is good! Rush is so out of your control it’s a waist of time worrying about it
