why your gpa matter so much

by: senior

We want sisters who will be involved and take on leadership roles in house and on campus. We want you to be able to go out and have fun and play intramurals. You can't do that if you are struggling with your grades. We also want you to graduate which is why you came to college in the first place. Your HS gpa is a good indicator of how well you will do in college. Dont ask me why but it seems pnms with high gpas tend to have more leadership and activities on their resumes too. Fortunately top houses are in a position to take only girls with high gpas and leadership. I don't mean to say pnms with low gpas won't suceed in suceed in college or be great sisters but you get the point I'm trying to make.

my GPA right now is a 3.2 but I'm trying to raise it to a 3.4 for sororities. if I can only get it up to a 3.3 do you know which sororities will cut me since it's below a 3.4? I was also involved in a lot of clubs and sports too but idk if that helps..

i went a top house with a 3.3 and minimal connections. there are so many variables with recruitment. be yourself and trust the system and you will find a home!
