rec letters

are rec letters a requirement to rush? i have heard that certain houses require a number but i do not know for sure. i am really interested in rushing in the fall but i have literally no connections.

As long as you have at least one for every house. In my house it is literally a box to check if you have one or not unless it is a highly personal one we don't really read them. But you will be cut first day without it. Don't worry about not having any connections. You may not get a top house but you can get a bid without connections.

Honestly don’t waste too much time or money getting rec letters. They’re not very important unless an Arkansas alum wrote it

You do need them for every house but don't stress if you don't know really know the person writing yours. It's just part of a check off if you have it or not. But we will cut you first day without at least one.
