gpa and agd

i'm ending with a 2.8 or 2.9 gpa when i graduate. I really want to be in a sorority my freshman year and not wait. my friends tell me i'm the perfect sorority girl. i hope when I go through recruitment all the houses will feel that way and forget my gpa. lol. if not can i still get a bid from agd since they will need lots of new members or will they have a gpa cutoff?

are there sororities that are known to take pnms with a low gpa? is it better to be in a bottom house or a new house? are the top houses automatically out for me? what about middle houses?

i'm from a small town so don't have any connections but am considered cute and in several clubs if that helps.

you will be cut from almost every sorority the first day. there are maybe 3 or 4 that will keep you. being "cute and in clubs" will do nothing

Most sororities begin cutting at a 3.4

AXO won't. Now that they have a house and 400 members they are not taking as many girls. 120 maximum is my bet.

I would wait and get your gpa up. You could try but don’t be disappointed if most of the houses cut you because that’s what will happen. Not because of anything about you personally. Sorority nationals set requirements for grades and they’ll cut you before they meet you if you don’t make that cut off.
